The successful candidate will demonstrate strong Commercial Presales skills along with detailed technical knowledge of complex Cognos performance management solutions.
You will provide the client with the technical confidence that the proposed solution is fit for purpose by demonstrating on test suites which you have developed.
You will provide technical ownership throughout the bid life cycle to secure the sale to mid tier clients (approx 500 – 5000 employees)
You will be 60% business and 40% technical, posses the ability to write technical specifications for Cognos solutions, develop strong relationships with clients and provide confidence in our technical ability.
Your will work along side a Cognos Sales Lead, visiting existing and accompany as necessary to potential client sites.
Your travel will mostly be in the UK but from time to time throughout in Europe for either product training or to visit a client.
Your must demonstrate a strong technical Cognos skills with a strong desire to achieve great results against all odds. You will be able to present to technical or corporate board level validating the solutions technical capability.
