Job Description |

We currently require 1x Manufacturing Lean Implementation Engineer to effectively implement lean process and continual improvements into a very busy production site.
Your leadership will ensure efficiency targets are met by optimisation of work flow.
This is a progressive role and business, who are expanding - Our clients manufacturing site currently employs over 100+ personnel and is extremely busy, with plans to open a new site in the very near future to accompany the existing.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will ensure performance standards are met, and to take appropriate action where necessary to guarantee agreed deadlines are achieved.
You will ensure that all team members are fully trained to enable them to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
You will carry out daily review meetings to communicate productivity and performance quality issues to team members.
You will motivate, inspire and lead by example whilst influencing team cohesion and cooperation.
Key responsibilities:-
* Ensure quality performance within the department using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Develop members of the team in order that they can provide value added service to the business.
* Work with the team Division Leader to motivate the team to ensure maximum performance levels.
* Monitor and report on the performance of the team.
* Daily meeting and briefings with Team leaders / Management to discuss previous day targets and present day targets.
A good understanding of lead manufacturing, six sigma, continuous improvement and health & Safety is highly desirable.
