|
Quality Manger – Leicester
This will involve prioritising workflow, managing people and ensuring that productivity and quality targets are met. You must be prepared to work as part of the team during busy times, be responsive to our customer’s needs, totally reliable and a good controller of stock.
You will report to the head of manufacturing, you will ensure that performance standards are met, and to take appropriate action where necessary to guarantee agreed deadlines are achieved.
You will ensure that all team members are fully trained to enable them to perform their duties safely and efficiently. You will carry out daily review meetings to communicate productivity and performance quality issues to team members.
The role will be responsible for all goods in and goods out, including organization of all drivers / delivery agents. You will also organise and co-ordinating holiday requests, monitoring rework and managing absence.
You will motivate, inspire by example and influence the need for team cohesion and cooperation.
Key responsibilities:-
1). Ensure consistent performance across the warehouse using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
2). Develop members of the team in order that they can provide value added service to the business.
3). Manage non-attendance and employee relations, in line with company and statutory procedures.
4). Motivate the team to ensure maximum performance levels.
5). Monitor and report on the performance of the team.
6). Daily meeting and briefings with team to discuss previous day targets and present day targets.
